I am a tutor who loves to read and write. I would love to help students with their writing, reading, phonics, literature, grammar, and English. I also teach English as a second language. If a student needs to improve their public speaking skills, or if they need someone to go over their college essay with them, I'm here to help! I received my degree in English from Albany State University, and I am now pursuing my master's in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. I've been tutoring students of all ages for over ten years now. I've been passionate about the English language all of my life. I love to read and write, and growing up I was constantly reading books. I believe that reading has made me a better person, and I want to share my passion for reading with my students. I am a laid back tutor and I try to make all of my sessions fun and informative. I use a variety of teaching methods depending on what we are going over and what works for the student. In my free time I enjoy softball, especially when I get to go to my daughter's games and watch her play!
